WOW - What a Weekend!!

I can't believe that it's already been a week and a half since our Fall Girls Getaway Weekend!!  It's taken me this long to recuperate from all of the fun and food!!

It's also taken me this long to put away all of the STUFF that I took along!!  At least this time I did use my own supplies!!  I usually pack about 300 pounds worth of stamp sets, and end up using only 1 the entire weekend - and it's usually Tina's!!

This is my favorite page that I worked on that weekend.  I've been wanting to do this layout for a long time (the pictures were taken last Christmas), so I am glad that I finally got around to it!! 

I just love all of the chipboard we have available to us now!!  For this I used the On Board Trimmings and Lots of Letters.  I covered them in Sage Shadow Craft Ink, then embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder.  They matched the Wintergreen Designer Series Paper perfectly!!  I used Shimmery White paper and our Snow Blossom punch to make the snowflakes, then added some "bling" using the Pretties Kit.

I hope that you agree - the page came out pretty good!!

I've also been very busy helping my sister out with my niece and nephew.  My sister Jennifer (in the pink) is currently working on her SECOND Master's Degree in Speech Therapy.  She has a really big exam coming up on November 1, so we have been watching the kids while she studies.

Here are Josh, Mikaela and Rebecca all snuggled up with Teddy watching a movie.  Josh can't get enough of the dogs, and Rebecca is finally starting to go near them!!

It's amazing to me how much work a little boy is!!  He is absolutely, positively EXHAUSTING!!  Touches and licks everything, and is in constant motion!!  The really have been a joy to have here, and I am going to have lots of great pictures to scrap at our Winter Getaway Weekend in February!!
