Totally Tess Tool Caddy

OK, so remember I said the other day that I finally started exercising again?  Well today's post will be very short because I can barely move my arms!  Stomach and legs are a little sore, but apparently, stamping IS NOT an acceptable way to build upper body strength.  Neither is skimming and vacuuming the pool.

Today's sample is an adorable little box I made to hold the tools I use most often.  Usually they are scattered on my work area, and inevitably I end up losing them!

Back on the Wagon

So to speak.  I started working out again today after a really long break.  I know that I'm pretty much not going to be able to move anything tomorrow, but it did feel good.

Today's card is one of the simplest cards to design - monochromatic.  No worries about coordinating colors, you just use one!  And I decided to use my favorite new In Color - Wisteria Wonder!

Happy Summer

So the last time I posted, it was before the first day of school.  Well it certainly has been a whirlwind since then!  It's always so busy those first couple of weeks, but for some reason, now that they are older, I didn't think that it would be as busy as usual.

Of course I was wrong!  I've spent the last two weeks either in my car running errands for the girls, or, dropping off/picking up!  Oh, and we've already used our first "snow day"!!  It's going to be a long year!

Things seem to be settled now, and we're slowly easing into a schedule.  The weather is even getting cooler.

But I'm not ready to give up the summer just yet!  We really had a great summer this year.  Lots of great weather, family, friends and food.  And amazingly, it was very relaxing!

So here's a happy summer card to make the season last just a bit longer.

It's the Most...

...wonderful time of the year!!

Actually, I haven't seen my favorite "back to school" commercial yet, but that song has been stuck in my head for the last week!!

In all honesty, this year's "back to school" hysteria has been non existent this year.  Maybe it's because they're getting older, or because we went on vacation earlier (we're usually away this week), but there hasn't been any craziness so far this year (knocking wood now)!!

In any event, it has been a very nice way to end what was a very fun and family filled summer!

Today's sample is actually a recreation from the Domestic Goddess Product Suite on page 52 in the Idea Book & Catalog.  It uses one of the new Designer Frames Embossing Folder, and was actually very easy to make!  Here's what was used:
