Hello Again!

Hello again!! 

I realize that it's been a while since I've posted.  It's not that I haven't been working, I've just been "working behind the scenes".  I've been taking some online classes, and have been busy working on and cleaning up my blog, Facebook page, newsletter service, as well as some other computer related things.

Since I'm not the most computer saavy person, it's probably taking me a bit longer than most, but I'm getting there!!  You should start seeing some of the changes in the next couple of weeks!!

I have managed to get some stamping time in though, and I just LOVE everything in the Occasions Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs!!

So Many Hearts

So, do you just LOVE the new Occasions Mini?!  I can't believe how much I love this one!

As a demonstrator, we always get the month before it's release to preorder from upcoming catalogs.  Since my "creative vision" is somewhat limited, I usually only order a couple of items until I can see what other, more creative people, do with them!

This Mini was definitely different for me though!!  I orders so much (not as much as I wanted though), AND got to spend some of the Christmas break playing with it all!!

Although I LOVE all of the new products that I got, I am most excited about the new Framelits & Edgelits!!  This card was made using the new Hearts Collection Framelits Die, and a little sneak peak at a Sale-a-Bration stamp set!!

Wisteria Stocking

Although I really like the traditional red & green at Christmas, I also really like purples and blues. 

So, each year when I make my Christmas cards, there is always a purple card in the mix, and since Wisteria Wonder is my new favorite color, I used it for this year's purple card!

It's Beginning to...

...look a lot like Christmas!!

We did what I like to call the "power decorate" this weekend.  We take everything down from the attic, put it all out, then get all the boxes put back upstairs.  All in a day!!  Morgan actually went to work that morning, came home, and the house was totally decorated!!

Today's sample is one we did at our Technique class last month.  We heat embossed, then colored on vellum.

Berry Blossoms Friend

So have you actually started your holiday shopping yet?  Or are you in a total panic because Thanksgiving has come and gone, and you don't have anything done yet?

Every year (and I mean EVERY year) I vow to get things done early so that I won't have the stress come December, and then every year as soon as the food coma wears off from Thanksgiving, I go into total panic mode!

Of course this year was no different!  But I thank my lucky stars for the internet, and we actually got a lot done over the weekend!!  I even got my Christmas card done and ordered - something that ususally doesn't even happen until the third week of December!!

Spicy Birthday

I can hardly believe that we are just one week away from Thanksigiving!! 

Although it has been very mild the last few days, the leaves are all off the trees, there is a chill in the air today, and I've actually seen some Christmas lights going up, so it must be Thanksgiving!

Although I wouldn't call these "traditional" fall colors, I just love this Spice Cake paper!!  I just love the addition of the Pool Party to the typical colors!!
