Now that new Occasions Mini is here, lets get together to make some cards using some of the beautiful new stamps, papers and accessories!  At January’s Card Class we'll make 6 cards, 2 each of 3 designs, using stamp sets & accessories from both the IB&C and the new Occasions Mini!

Your class fee includes:  all the pre-cut card stock, envelopes, embellishments, and the stamps, tools and inks to make the projects.

You’ll make 4 cards using stamp sets and embellishments from Frostwood Lodge Suite.  Class fee includes all pre-cut cardstock, embellishments, Winter Wishes Stitched Felt and envelopes.  RSVP by 11/11 so that I can have your supplies.

Technology Restored (again!)

Do not check your screen.  This is not the "snow" we used to get growing up when the TV antenna was not positioned right (ok - I'm dating myself).  This is actually what our backyard looked like EARLY during the snow storm we got on Saturday.  Yep - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 29!!!  Like I said, this was early in the day, we ended up with 14 inches!!

And once again we were VERY LUCKY!  We never lost power, only our satellite for a day, and our internet for 4 days.  So many people are still without power 6 days later!

Losing the internet was not fun - especially since it was the second weekend in a row!  The worst the snow day on Monday!  It was only October 31, and we've already used 2 of our 4 allotted snow days!!  It's going to be a long winter...

On the bright side, without the internet, I was able to get super prepared for our Fall Scrapbooking Getaway this weekend!!  I am so looking forward to spending 3 RELAXING days scrapbooking with friends, enjoying great food (that I don't need to make), and MINIMAL INTERRUPTIONS so that I can actually get my projects done!

Join Me for Our Annual Garage Sale

Join us for our annual Rubber Stamping & Scrapbooking Garage Sale!

When:  Friday, 7/29 and Saturday 7/30 from 9 am - 12 pm

Homemade Shimmer Spray

Today's sample we made at our last Techniques Class.  In this class, we used Shimmer Paint in a few different ways.

For this card, we mixed Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint with alcohol in a small spritz bottle.  Shake well, and spritz on your card stock.  The alcohol dries quickly leaving a shimmer on the card stock.

Stamps:  Vintage Vogue, Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel

Card Stock:  Certainly Celery, Early Espresso

Ink:  Certainly Celery, Early Espresso

Accessories:  Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint
