I don't have a lot of alpabet sets anymore, but I did want to add some sort of title. So I used MDS, and printed the letters & numbers in Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point onto Whisper White Card Stock. Then I just punched out each letter using the new Petite Pennants Builder, and the 1 3/4" Circle.

Keeping in the My Digital Studio theme, today's sample is of a 2-page spread I recently made using MDS. So far, most of the projects I've made have used the templates that are included in the program. What I've done is just click on the elements of the design, and change the colors, the Designer Series Papers, the stamps, or the embellishments. It may sound like a lot of work, but it's actually very easy to just change what is already there. It's also a really great way to learn your way around My Digital Studio before you begin a project from scratch.
This layout is from a Gingerbread House making "event" at our house back in December. I say "event", because it always ends up with the girls yelling at each other, not agreeing on how the house should be decorated, fighting over who gets to hold the icing bag, and TONS of laughing. Usually, the house never seems to get made, all the candy "decorations" get eaten, and EVERYONE ends up with icing all over!

Here's another card I made recently using My Digital Studio, and boy was it a labor of love!! I started working on this card back at the end of February, and just kept going back to it until I got it right!!
The very short simple version of what I did: I "colored in" the flowers using the Extreme Elements Stamp Brush Set, as well as a series of different punches to "color in" the stems. As I sit here and type that explanation, it sounds very easy, but it did take a lot of time to get it the way I wanted it to look.
For the inside of the card, I just added a sentiment, and them some flowers with brads - that part was very easy!

How cool is this!! I spent some time over the weekend playing around on My Digital Studio - and this is my latest creation!!
Actually, I was looking around on mydigitalstudio.net (that's how I like to relax at night - looking at My Digital Studio samples, and traditional card samples on our Demonstrator site), and I saw a couple of MDS samples that were labeled "emboss resist".
As a refresher, the emboss resist technique is when you emboss an image, then sponge color over and around the image. The embossed image resists the ink, leaving sponged color around the image.
After a bit lot of playing around, I was able to figure it out!! I probably could have "prettied" the card up and added some more embellishments, but I just couldn't wait to share this!
