One Last Sale-a-Bration Sample

I had my last workshop during Sale-a-Bration yesterday, and boy did we go out with a bang!!

The workshop was at my customer Cheryl's house, and she wanted to do a sample using glitter.  I love using glitter, but I'm always a little hesitant to use it in a hostess' home because of the potential of it being messy.  As a matter of fact, I had a Glitter Class here back in January, and it was a huge success!  By success, I mean I'm still vacuuming up glitter.

So in order to keep the glitter as neat and contained as possible, I decided to make a sample using Crystal Effects.  The result was exactly what the hostess and I wanted - everyone loved using the glitter, and we didn't all look like Vegas Showgirls at the end of the workshop!!

Sale-A-Bration Winding Down

As Sale-A-Bration comes to a close, I just wanted to share another SAB sample with you. 

This project incorporates several Sale-A-Brations products, as well as the technique Embedded Embossing.

Embedded Embossing is a simple technique that gives your projects a pretty amazing final result.  All I did for this card is punch the flowers out from the Ice Cream Parlor DSP, and adhere them to the Whisper White card stock.  Then, I ran the Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder.  It looks like the flowers are actually part of the white card stock!

Back From a Break

Whew - I'm finally back from a little bit of a break.

I think the last time I posted, I was getting ready for our Winter Weekend Getaway.  It is such a stressful week getting ready for that weekend - so much to do right before!  Seating, agenda, forms for the next weekend (coming soon!), putting together goodie bags, last minute details, AND packing for myself!!  By the time I get there Friday, I'm exhausted, but I wouldn't change a thing!

Now - pair that with very late nights, wonderful food, a bit of wine, and great friends, and I'm REALLY TIRED by the time I get home Sunday night!!  Needless to say, I needed to take a break for a few days!
