I have to admit, this isn't a color that I use often, but I am definitely going to try to incorporate it into more projects this coming year!

Versamark is a watermark ink that makes subtle tone-on-tone designs; it appears a few shades darker than the card stock, and looks like a watermark on light-colored paper. It's the perfect choice for resist stamping and heat embossing.
For a special effect, stamp with VersaMark Ink on a light-colored card stock, then use a Brayer to apply ink over the stamped design. The first design will resist the second application of ink, producing a shadowy look. VersaMark Ink is also great for the Poppin’ Pastels technique. Stamp the image with VersaMark Ink. Apply Stampin’ Pastels to the stamped image with a stamping sponge or sponge dauber. Blend and mix pastels for beautiful effects.

Crystal Effects gives a high-gloss finish to any image and creates amazing 3-D effects. The applicator tip provides great control, and dries completely within an hour, depending on how thickly it is applied. It's water based for quick and easy cleanup.
Here's a quick trick, add a drop or two of our Classic Ink refill to the Crystal Effects, and you’ll have a high-gloss colored finish. Crystal Effects also works great as an adhesive to attach buttons and other heavier embellishments. Add a three-dimensional effect to your projects with Crystal Effects. Simply apply a thick line of to the outline of your stamped image. After the line has dried, add a thinner coat of Crystal Effects to the inside area of what was outlined.
Crystal Effects can be used with any stamped image that has been colored with any medium: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin’ Pastels, and Stampin’ Pads. Do not shake, shaking Crystal Effects will cause bubbles that will show up in your work. Recap after use to prevent the tip from drying and clogging. Allow approximately one hour drying time. For best results, use Crystal Effects within one year of purchase.

Stampin’ Up!’s Exclusive Colored Card Stock is 80-lb., high-quality card stock that’s dyed all the way through with no white core. It coordinates with Stampin’ Write Markers, Stampin’ Ink, Stampin’ Pastels, and Watercolor Wonder Crayons. The card stock is available in 8-1/2" x 11" and 12" x 12" sizes. It’s available in smooth, textured, and assortment packages. The textured card stock is lightly textured on one side. This is a Stampin’ Memories product, which means its safe for scrapbooks. The card stock Is acid free, lignin free, and buffered.

Classic Ink is water-based dye ink that is acid free and nontoxic. The inks all coordinate with exclusive Stampin’ Up! card stock, Stampin’ Pastels, Watercolor Wonder Crayons, and Stampin’ Write Markers. The Basic Black ink is a waterproof dye ink, and will not bleed on Stampin' Up!'s card stock. The ink can be easily cleaned from stamps using Stampin’ Mist and Stampin’ Scrub.
Stampin’ Pads: Slightly raised fabric pad that can be re-inked using Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills. Today's sample is another using the Naturewalk stamp set. I have to be honest, I was not drawn to this stamp set immediately. I usually gravitate towards the floral stamp sets, and I did actually purchase them from the mini first.
OK - after admitting to that, I haven't used the floral sets as much as I've used this one. I have done all kinds of cards and scrapbook pages with this set, from vintage, to this subtle card.
I chose the subtles for this card because I wanted the Beveled Windowpane to stand out. They give the card such an elegant look, and are a really great way to spotlight a word or an image.

Well it certainly has been awhile hasn't it??!!
It was a seriously CRAZY Christmas this year! It started the middle of December with a visit from my sister and her kids, and actually isn't quite over yet!! This weekend we'll celebrate Morgan's 18th birthday (and the Jets making the playoffs) with another family gathering - and more food!!
Stampingwise though, it was a pretty slow month. Other than making cards for my family, a couple gift card holders, and a tag or two, I really just didn't have the time to do much stamping. I never even got around to placing my Mini Occasions pre-order - I just placed that order today!! So sometime late next week I should have some new goodies to play with!
